My Story with Effortless Meditation
So, how did I discover meditation? It is a story that stretches back to my childhood. At a very young age, I found myself drawn to Buddhism and the concept of reincarnation, forming an understanding that felt inherent. However, it was not until I left home and moved to the city at 18 that I began to practice meditation, kickstarting a journey that continued into my 20s.
Frequenting a Buddhist temple near my house, I explored guided meditations, chanting, and prayers. Soon, I incorporated meditation into my daily life, experimenting with apps, guided meditations, and solitary practice. But truth be told, satisfaction and steadfastness eluded me. Months of persistence yielded minimal results.
Discovering Effortless Meditation
Fast forward to a few years ago, when I returned to Australia and felt an intuitive calling to unravel the cause of my insomnia through meditation. After extensive research, I found a program that offered training in a newfound concept for me, Effortless Meditation. Speaking with a seasoned practitioner, Nikki, I felt a resonance that triggered my intuition to pursue this path.
Taking part in two teacher training courses and currently involved in a 10-month inner growth coaching program, I am now associated with Scented Meditation. For anyone aspiring to become a meditation teacher, I highly recommend Scented Meditation. It not only equips you with teaching skills but also facilitates your journey of self-discovery.
More About Effortless Meditation
Effortless meditation follows a completely relaxed, carefree approach, devoid of intense focusing or control. You allow your mind freedom, not attempting to suppress your thoughts or force a state of calm.
Classifying the plethora of meditation types available based on cognitive brain effort requirements, we spot a spectrum. Towards one end, we have concentrative mind practices like Zen Buddhist Meditation, and on the other end is effortless meditation— a more restful, accessible, and effective practice for the modern world.
This technique does not attempt to stop your thoughts during meditation, which is the nature of your mind. Instead, it allows you to transcend them, to navigate into deeper levels while the thoughts continue.
Inner Liberation through Effortless Meditation
Effortless meditation evokes your potential for deep healing and nervous system regulation. By bringing balance to your internal system, it creates an environment conducive to processing and clearing stored trauma, emotions, and experiences. This pathway is not only healing but also liberating, enabling you to shed hindering layers to develop a deeper connection with yourself.
To fully understand the benefits of effortless meditation, a one-on-one instruction with a teacher is recommended. Learning through personalized guidance increases the efficacy of your practice owing to the nuanced subtleties of the technique. If this approach to meditation resonates with you, I am more than happy to guide you into the realm of inner liberation.
To wrap up, I'd like to express my gratitude to all those who have been supporting this meditation journey.
