Meditation offered on Salt Spring Island
I offer a few different things:
1:1 private meditation course for those seeking to learn how to meditate. This consists of 3 immersive x 90 minute sessions.
Group meditation course for those seeking to learn how to meditate. This consists of 3 immersive x 2-hour sessions.The group sizes are small and intimate and range from 2-10 people.
Private guided meditation sessions - these are 1:1/group guided meditation sessions where you are taken on a guided transformative meditation journey.
Where to learn meditation Salt Spring ?
Currently, I have a few different options for teaching meditation on Salt Spring
I teach meditation from my beautiful home located not too far from Ganges (the main town on the island). The spaces is really homey/comfortable/beautiful and surrounded by lush forest. In the fall & winter I will get the fire going to create a warm and inviting space.
I am also able to offer these sessions in the privacy of your own home/space.
During the warm Summer months, we can enjoy the natural outside landscapes that Salt Spring has to offer and we can choose a suitable place together in nature to learn and practice meditation together.
I also offer these sessions online via Zoom. They can be done only using Zoom or a combination of in-person and Zoom. The choice is really up to you.

Type of meditation I offer on Salt Spring Island
I teach an Effortless Approach to Meditation.
Unlike other forms of meditation, the Effortless Technique is not to think of nothing, it is not to still your mind. The intention of Effortless Meditation is to rather allow your nervous system to de-excite in its’ own way. It is in the surrendering that the real magic happens.
Most other meditation techniques require you to TRY to still your mind, and TRY to stop your thoughts. This leaves many practitioners feeling frustrated and like they have failed. The Effortless Meditation Technique actually allows you to go beyond your thoughts, rather than getting stuck in trying to stop them. Rather than forcing ourselves to be present, we are actually inviting presence in ( and if it actually comes then that’s a bonus).
This meditation technique is really easy to learn, enjoyable to do and the effects within the brain and body can be felt rather quickly.
